[Portals (Aperture Science)]

One of my favorite games from Valve.
The grungy bass is cool, the melody's steady, the kicks are great.
GLaDOS's voice synth is just okay though.

It is definitely electronic, and although I wouldn't know what to call this by subgenre, it suits well for a scenario, like an encounter of a specific character in a game or story.
Due to Newground's limited genre options, I personally go by "Other - Experimental" when I cannot find its subgenre.

Your mix is balanced and your composition is coherent and is repetitive enough to know how the tune should go throughout the entire piece.

Regarding tags, this music does not fit into the synthwave and techno genres, but it certainly belongs in the video-game and electronic genres. I cannot judge for the Geomotry Dash tag, since I don't play it.

The pleasant, slow pace works well with the instruments used.
At 1:07, the transition of this soothing string is placed nicely.
This loops well, and I can only hope this gets a full featured composition.

I was absolutely skeptical of your credibility at first, but I'm glad my doubts were proven wrong.
It's an honor coming from you to share this, since I've played Descent 3 when I was a kid and even recently. It is an excellent game with excellent music. Thank you for uploading this, sir!
